EMBO 2011 -- Vienna, Austria

It has been a while since any post whatsoever, so I reckon now is as good a time as any!  I was 'recently' at a conference in Vienna, Austria.  First time there, and while I wasn't as touristic as I could be ('business' trip yes) here are some frames from then!  It was kind of a lonely-ish trip too as well, but anyway, on to the photos!

1) The church right smack in the middle of the town (Stephansdom in Stephansplatz).  I probably have ...

Frame of the Day -- 5th March 2011/6th March 2011

So no prizes for guessing the kind of event this frame was taken at. It is certainly been quite a learning experience these past few days, and surely there are take home messages that all of us should take home with. Perhaps the most important of which would be with regards to the impact we have in our spheres of influence (paraphrased). There was certainly a lot to digest, but nevertheless, taken toegether quite an eye-opener.

Frame of the Day -- 27th February 2011

On a day when a new 'toy' was acquired, this frame was one of the 'trial' frames taken. There are nicer frames I suppose, but I shall just let this one be today's. Let's just say that while this is a relatively pricey hobby, there are surely more important endeavours to spend time and energy on What this may be, I will leave you to find out!

Ramly -- Not really, but probably bears a certain resemblance!  It's actually from the ... << MORE >>

Frame of the Day -- 23rd February 2011

Today's frame speaks volumes, certainly much more than one can expound in words. Suffice to say that, it is for moments such as this which makes life so much more meaningful. And for the record, I am not referring to me having the privilege of being able to frame such a moment!

After all those years -- Exquisite, just simply, exquisite =)

Frame of the Day -- 21st February 2011

Yes, it has been a while since I posted an entry. In fact, it is probably not (only?) because I am not taking one frame a day; probably more saliently, it is simply because we all have 24 hours a day, and how that time is prioritised can change due to certain events.

Short of being too cryptic, I challenge you to consider what is important to you, and to really put more value on time spent on that endeavour. Since one man's meat could very well ... << MORE >>

Frame of the Day -- 28th January 2011

Well, this entry was supposed to be posted yesterday, and I reckon, it requires it's own entry rather than a shared effort with the 29th =)  Sometimes events just develop in a really unplanned way, I am not sure what the outcome would be, but perhaps, it will become evident in the not-too-distant future. In any case, it was a really memorable evening/night/morning, and I must again really thank you for making it all possible =)

Frame of the Day -- 26th January 2011

What's really important in a relationship?  There are probably different perspectives and priorities, but I believe one of the more important ones has to be communication.

Change
-- well let's see, I'm certain there'll be! =)

Frame of the Day -- 25th January 2011

There are certainly lots of things to learn everyday, regardless of how studious we have been, there will almost surely be new things to discover. Today was really an eye opener into apparently what has been going on behind the scenes since I left. It appears to be a sad state of affairs, but indeed, it is not my place to judge or criticise.

Practice
-- Something I certainly need to do after receiving this really really thoughtful gift =) A most heartfelt ... << MORE >>

Frame of the Day -- 23rd January 2011/24th January 2011

It will certainly be an understatement to say that yesterday evening/night was a delight. Perhaps no words can fully describe feelings that are just simply, indescribable (and now that's a word to describe all inexplicably complex words =p). Surely, meaningful time spent can be so much more rewarding than any amount of money, or effort spent. Plus, some things are best enjoyed as private sentiment rather than public knowledge =)

Frame of the Day -- 22nd January 2011

it's been a really long time since I played badminton. Besides the fact that I didn't actually know where the hall was, at least I managed to get there somehow!  Perhaps it's the whole idea of not being very used to physical activity of such sort, I'm feeling kind of exhausted!

Random -- Yeah, frame was 'desperately' taken a few minutes ago!
